Jouko Virtanen is a co-founder of Global Intelligence Alliance Group (GIA Group, now part of M-brain Group) back in 1995, where he first oversaw the company’s sales in Europe and participated in developing a globally scalable service and software business. Between 2004 and 2015, Jouko lived in Toronto, managing GIA’s expansion in the Americas region, including Unites States, Canada and South America.

The majority of Jouko's work has been about pioneering with a new business model in the Market Intelligence (MI) industry and successfully launching a well-recognized B2B brand among Fortune 500 companies. GIA was able to introduce an innovative business model in a fiercely competed region, combining software, services and consulting to help large companies organize their MI in novel ways. Jouko has been in the front line of creating new ways to manage market information in corporate America.

As a positive and energetic sales leader, Jouko has been successful in opening doors and developing long term business relationships with some of the largest and most respected corporations in their fields in the world. He is widely appreciated as a fun and easy-going person to work with, yet he is also known for his uncompromising attention to customer satisfaction and creating value for money.

Since 2015, Jouko has held several interim sales leadership positions, helping ambitious growth companies expand their sales and establish new business especially in the North American market.
