Startups: Understand EU's new privacy laws, attend event on Jun 14

image description

Exove and Takeoff Partners organise a morning info session tailored for start-ups and early stage companies to understand, manage, and mitigate the effects of GDPR.

European Union’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) defines how information related to EU citizen’s needs to be handled. While it clarifies and unifies data handling in the Union, it also adds new responsibilities to the companies and gives more rights to the individuals. Further, it contains also heavy sanctions to companies not following the regulation.

The regulation is already in force today – we are currently in the middle of a transition period that ends on May 18th, 2018. During this time, companies need to make sure that their processes and platforms are on par with the regulation. Practically every company needs to make changes.

The event takes place on Wednesday June 14th from 8.30 to 10.00 at Exove office on Itämerenkatu 1, 6th floor. The event is free of charge.
